We get a number of questions relating to the venue for different events all the time, so in an effort to help you before you attend, we have listed some of them here for you to peruse before the event to make your visit as stress-free as possible!

WHAT TIME DOES THE EVENT OPEN?

Comic Con Scotland NE opens at the same time over the course of the weekend this time is as follows:

 

Saturday Standard Entry: 9.00am

Saturday Closing: 6.00pm

Sunday Standard Entry: 9.00am

Sunday Closing: 6.00pm

 

DO YOU HAVE CAR PARKING?

If you are parking onsite there are various methods and P&J Live to pay for your parking:

​

On-site payment machines: P&J Live accepts both cash and card payments on-site, pay on exit is required by entering your vehicle registration at any one of the machines located in the car parks. Please note payment machines only take coins and not notes.

​

APCOA Connect App: Up to 1 hour after you have left the venue, you can pay for your parking on the APCOA Connect App. Once you have downloaded the app, use location code 6680 for the Sub-T Car Park (underground) and location code 2356 for the Surface Car Park.

​

Extensive bicycle parking is available in both the surface and sub-t car parks free of charge.

​

We recommend reverse parking for ease on exit.

​

If you are dropping off or picking someone up from an event, please note the maximum wait time in the car parks is 30 minutes. Parking charges will apply if your car is within the car park for more than 30 minutes. This also applies if you cannot find a space, you will not be charged if you exit the car park within 30 minutes.

 

DO YOU HAVE A CASH MACHINE?

There are no cash machines at P&J Live however contactless payments are accepted throughout the various venue pay points. We do, however, strongly advise that you bring plenty of cash with you on the day to make sure you do not miss out.

 

We also have card terminals at each guest's table as well as in the photo areas where you can purchase photo ops, autographs, selfies, and COA certificates.

Finally, it is worth noting that the vast majority of traders accept cards as well as cash, but always check with the trader before purchasing an item.

 

DO YOU HAVE WI-FI?

P&J Live boasts one of the best WiFi experiences in the UK, offering 40,000 concurrent connections

 

DOES THE VENUE OFFER DISABLED ACCESS?

P&J Live is fully accessible across all levels, with lifts and public areas designed for wheelchair use. There is also accessible seating and staff available to help. For more information on disability access and carer ticket information please visit our DISABLED ACCESS.

 

WHAT FOOD AND DRINK OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?

P&J Live has a range of spaces in which to refuel, including a number of options on the concourse level including The Mill Coffee Shop serving Costa Coffee as well as home bakes and sandwiches. On the ground and second floor, there are a number of bars serving a selection of beer, cider, wine, spirits, soft drinks, and coffee, as well as hot dogs, nachos, burgers, fries, savoury and sweet snacks, and Mackies Ice Cream.

No food or drink purchased outside P&J Live is permitted to be taken inside. Should you wish to bring an item of food or drink with you due to medical requirements please contact the venue via ccare@pandjlive.com prior to your arrival.

 

DO YOU HAVE ACCOMMODATION NEARBY?

There are various accommodation options throughout the area, including at the airport.

 

WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED FIRST AID?

If you have or witness a medical emergency during the event, please find, a member of the P&J Live staff or a Comic Con Scotland NE volunteer who will assist you in finding medical care.

 

DO YOU HAVE BABY CHANGING FACILITIES?

Baby changing facilities are available within the public toilet facilities.

 

CAN I SMOKE/VAPE AT THE VENUE?

P&J Live has a strict no smoking/vaping policy, this includes the use of e-cigarettes. There are however specific outside smoking areas for those wishing to smoke or vape during Comic Con Scotland NE.
